Who are we?We are dedicated to giving second life to Brigham Young University's surplus equipment while also providing service to BYU's students and the general public. BYU's surplus IT equipment is for sale to the general public through a variety of means. Typical sale items include refurbished PCs, Macs, monitors, audio equipment, projectors, furniture, cables, keyboards, printers, televisions, and other IT equipment.
Items on this website are available for purchase during our regular sale hours. Other unique items can be found through our eBay store or at the monthly warehouse sale. Furniture sales are determined on a day-to-day basis. For more information on Furniture sales, click here.

Surplus SalesWe hold special monthly sales in which our warehouse is opened to the public. During this time, limited and unique items not regularly sold will be made available for purchase. Sales are typically held on the third Thursday of the month from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. As a service to our customers, we distribute numbers between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in our front office on the day of the sale. This number will secure your place in line and eliminate the need to wait in line all day for the sale to start. We recommend lining up at 3:45 p.m. at our warehouse entrance doors located on the side of the Ellsworth building. Due to safety concerns and fire code standards, a limited number of people will be allowed in the sale at any one given time. Please see our sales etiquette for more information.
NOTICE: On the day of the monthly sale, items can only be purchased during the warehouse sale from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Previews of the items are not permitted on sale days. Due to COVID-19, our Monthly Sales have been suspended until further notice.
